Question 1

Is Fengdun a manufacturer or a trading company?

Accepted Answer

Fengdun is an original manufacturer. Fans, fire dampers, cooling towers and water tanks are fabricated in our own 12,000 m² facility in Dezhou, Shandong, China, so overseas buyers purchase factory-direct without middleman markup.

Question 2

Can cooling towers, fans and water tanks be customized?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We support OEM and ODM orders, including tank dimensions and capacity, shell material (FRP, galvanized steel, SUS304, SUS316 or enamel steel), cooling capacity, airflow and pressure, local voltage and frequency, and private labeling.

Question 3

Should I choose an open counterflow or a closed circuit cooling tower?

Accepted Answer

Open counterflow towers offer lower initial cost and suit HVAC chillers and general process cooling. Closed circuit towers keep the process fluid inside a sealed coil, preventing contamination and scaling, and are preferred for induction furnaces, petrochemical units and precision equipment.

Question 4

Which grade of stainless steel water tank do I need?

Accepted Answer

SUS304 is the cost-effective food-grade choice for drinking water and general building use. SUS316 contains molybdenum for better pitting resistance and is recommended for coastal, high-chloride or chemical-adjacent sites.

Question 5

Which countries has Fengdun supplied?

Accepted Answer

We have supported more than 200 cooperative customers, including cooling tower and water infrastructure projects in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, and export to EPC contractors and distributors worldwide.

Question 6

What information is needed for accurate equipment selection?

Accepted Answer

Please share the application, flow rate, inlet and outlet water temperatures, local wet-bulb temperature, required airflow and static pressure, power supply, tank capacity and site dimensions, and any local standard the project must comply with.
